Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and vlists. They govern your use of the vlists app and website. By creating an account or using vlists, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use vlists. vlists is a list-manager app for saving, reusing, and getting reminded about your checklists.
Who can use vlists
You must be at least 13 years old to use vlists. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into this agreement.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You may sign in with an email and password or with a supported third-party sign-in option.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse vlists. In particular, you will not use it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts, scrape or overload our systems, or reverse engineer the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
Your content
Your lists, items, and other content remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service, that is, to store, process, display, and sync your content back to you and to anyone you choose to share a list with. You are responsible for the content you create and share, and for having the right to share it. When you share a list with another person, you authorise us to make that list available to them.
vlists also offers a curated catalog of ready-made lists for your convenience. You may copy them into your own account and edit your copies freely.
Reminders
Reminders are provided on a best-effort basis and are delivered through your device or by email. Delivery can be delayed or missed for reasons outside our control, such as device settings, connectivity, or platform limits. Please do not rely on vlists reminders for anything critical to health, safety, legal, or financial outcomes.
Third-party services
vlists relies on third-party providers for sign-in, hosting, and email delivery. When you sign in with a third-party option, your use of that option is also governed by that provider's own terms.
Availability and changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may limit or discontinue the service, at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can. vlists is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, vlists is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that your content will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, vlists and the people who build it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
Ending your use of vlists
You can stop using vlists at any time. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from our account deletion page. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use vlists in a way that harms the service or other people.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using vlists you also agree to that policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using vlists after an update, you accept the revised terms.
